A voice for families of children and young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities
PINS
Reading is part of the government funded Partnership for Inclusion of Neurodiversity in Schools (PINS). We're working alongside Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, NHS Buckinghamshire Oxfordshire and Berkshire West Integrated Care Board, Brighter Futures for Children and school partners to support neurodiverse children to be more included. For this work, neurodiversity means autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia and any other difference in learning.
As part of the project, meetings are being held in primary schools for parents / carers to share ideas over refreshments. The Forum will invite school leaders to a future meeting to hear what parent carers have to say and share good practice for our children.
